On Saturday, June 6, Bombannes Beach, on the shores of Lake Hourtin in Gironde, hosted the second edition of Oxylanta, an in-house event inspired by large-scale team adventure games.
For this latest edition, 11 Oxymetal employees took part in a day centered on teamwork, challenges, and good cheer. The event was organized and hosted by Stéphane Mari, the Group’s chief accountant and a fan of the TV show that inspired the concept.
Divided into two teams—the Reds and the Yellows—the participants competed in 10 events specially designed for the occasion. Blind canoeing, archery duels, and relay orienteering: each challenge required energy, coordination, strategy, and teamwork.
Beyond its athletic and recreational aspects, Oxylanta gave employees the opportunity to spend time together outside the usual work setting, get to know one another better, and strengthen bonds among colleagues.
The event also had a charitable aspect. Thanks to the participants’ efforts, €250 was raised for the Aladin33 organization, which makes the dreams of children with serious illnesses come true.
