Located at the Group’s production sites in France and the Czech Republic, our laser cutting machines are capable of producing parts made of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum—whether for one-off, recurring, or mass-production orders.
Technology tailored to industrial requirements
Laser cutting ing is particularly well-suited for parts that require high dimensional accuracy, consistent cut quality, and great production flexibility. It can handle a wide variety of geometries, thicknesses, and sizes, while ensuring a high level of repeatability.
At Oxymetal, this expertise is integrated into a comprehensive industrial operation: material procurement, scheduling, cutting, inspections, identification, packaging, and shipping. Each step in the process contributes to ensuring that the parts produced meet specifications and that the requirements defined with the customer are met.
Fiber or CO₂ Laser: Which Technology Is Right for Your Parts?
Oxymetal operates laser cutting machines using fiber and CO₂ technologies. These two processes meet complementary needs depending on the material, thickness and geometry of the parts, as well as production requirements.
- Fiber lasers are particularly well-suited for applications requiring speed, precision, and energy efficiency, especially when working with thin and medium-thickness materials.
- The CO₂ laser, a long-established and proven technology, remains relevant for certain applications, particularly when working with thicker materials or specific material configurations.
YAG: High-Precision laser cutting
Oxymetal offers high-precision laser cutting, made possible in particular by YAG technology. This capability allows us to work with a wide variety of materials: steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, magnetic sheet and nickel silver.
This technology is designed for industries with stringent dimensional requirements, such as energy, electric mobility, electronics, and precision engineering.
In particular, YAG laser cutting allows micro-cutting of very small parts, down to 1 mm², with tolerances of up to ±20 microns depending on the configuration and project requirements.
Process Control and Management
Cutting precision depends on a combination of equipment, the skills of the teams, and the quality control procedures in place. Oxymetal relies in particular on specialized measuring equipment, such as measuring arms and scanners, to verify that parts meet specifications when required.
From sourcing raw materials to shipping finished parts, laser cutting operates within a well-controlled industrial process capable of meeting the production needs of customers with a wide range of specifications.
This expertise is one of the Oxymetal Group’s long-standing cornerstones and remains a central component of its industrial offerings today.
