Oxymetal’s history began in 1984 in Bordeaux with a workshop specializing inflame cutting. From the very beginning, the company has built its business on a foundation of rigorous industrial expertise: transforming metal with precision, reliability, and responsiveness to meet its customers’ production needs.

In the 1990s, Oxymetal took a major step forward by adding laser cutting to its machine fleet. This technological advancement marked a turning point: the company expanded its capabilities, improved its precision, and accelerated its growth. It was also during this period that the Group gradually consolidated its structure, notably through the integration of several industrial sites in France.
Over the years, Oxymetal has thus built a strong industrial network capable of meeting the diverse needs of its customers, from simple parts to more complex mass-production projects. The Group’s growth is based on a firm conviction: industrial performance depends not only on machinery, but also on organization, quality, efficient workflow management, and the commitment of its teams.
The 2000s and 2010s solidified this trajectory. Oxymetal strengthened its processes, expanded its certifications, structured its quality organization, and cemented its position with major industrial clients. The company gradually became a recognized partner in industrial cutting, and later in complementary operations such as finishing, bending, machining, and metal fabrication.
The opening of the Pilsen facility in the Czech Republic marks a new milestone in the Group’s development. For the first time, Oxymetal is expanding its industrial model beyond France, bringing it closer to the industrial hubs of Central Europe. This decision reflects a clear ambition: to support European customers in addressing their challenges related to proximity, capacity, and logistics performance.
Since becoming part of the Swedish industrial group Koncentra, Oxymetal has continued to grow under stable leadership and with a long-term vision. The Group continues to invest in its facilities, equipment, expertise, and digital tools to meet the standards expected by major clients.
Today, Oxymetal operates 7 production sites in France and the Czech Republic, employs nearly 250 people, and draws on 40 years of industrial expertise. As the European leader in industrial cutting, the Group supports its customers in the manufacture of metal parts and subassemblies, from cutting to as metal fabrication.
Fromflame cutting to laser cutting, from a small workshop in the Gironde region to a European industrial group, Oxymetal has always moved forward with the same ambition: to transform its clients’ industrial challenges into drivers of sustainable performance.
